Laura Warner, Ed.D.
Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist
Dr. Laura Warner is an assistant professor in the UF Department of Agricultural Education and Communication and the Center for Landscape Conservation and Ecology. Her extension program provides leadership, professional development, and resources to enhance program delivery and evaluation competencies among extension professionals and outreach educators. She develops strategies for creating and measuring behavior change at all stages from program planning through evaluation and accountability. Dr. Warner's research explores factors that influence behavior change among clientele that participate in Extension activities with a focus on sustainable natural resource management. One primary area of interest is the study of people who use and have decision-making power over their landscape irrigation, as this audience has immense potential for conserving water.
