Educational Video
The ICS Educational Video Unit offers a full range of video production services. Working with broadcast quality equipment, the unit provides services from educational video productions to promotional videos and public service announcements. We can help you take the project from the initial concept all the way to the final packaging.
Instructional Videos
ICS Educational Video provides educational production services in a wide variety of formats and methodologies. From long-form instructional videos to short educational modules, the unit works closely with the client to provide a product that enhances their educational endeavor.
Promotional Video
The unit can provide promotional videos in support of IFAS related conferences, events and outreach efforts. Final products can be provided in a variety of formats, from DVD to streaming media on the web.
Broadcast News
Working in coordination with IFAS External Media Relations and the UF Broadcast Desk, ICS Educational Video provides coverage of UF/IFAS-related news. These products are made available to a national audience to a variety of broadcast providers. Staff members also provide support and consultation services to IFAS-related entities throughout the state in their local outreach efforts.
Documentation Services
The ICS Educational Video Unit can provide documentation of seminars and educational sessions. Utilizing a system which captures both video/audio and the presenter's PowerPoint at the same time, the final product is sync'd into one final presentation which can be streamed via the web or CD technology.
Flash Video Streaming
The ICS Educational Video can provide the final video product as a Flash video which can be played over 90% of existing web browsers. The Flash videos can be streamed from the ICS Flash Server, which provides services to IFAS-related educational delivery, or played from CD/DVD discs.
Videoconference Production
ICS Educational Video, as part of ICS Distance Education and Educational Video, can provide production coordination of events using the UF/IFAS Interactive Videoconferencing Network. This system offers direct interaction of participants as a videoconference between two or more sites. For more information on the Videoconferencing Network, contact Ron Thomas (rkthomas@ufl.edu).
Streaming Media Production
ICS Educational Video can provide production encoding for delivery of Internet streaming media. Video clips can be processed and encoded for placement on the UF Streaming Media Server as Windows Media files. (Note: this usually requires the client to establish their own account with the UF Media Server).
